Cookie Policy

Sparkd uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the service, remember your preferences, and (with your consent) understand how the product is used. This page explains the categories and how to control them.

Essential cookies

Required for the service to function — authentication session (Supabase auth cookie), CSRF protection, locale preference, theme preference, timezone (sparkd_tz), and your cookie consent choice (sparkd_cookie_consent). These cannot be disabled; without them the application cannot work.

Analytics cookies

Set only if you opt in. We use Sentry to capture client-side errors and PostHog (EU region) for product analytics — both with anonymized identifiers (UUIDs only, no email or names). No personal data, no third-party advertising IDs. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or behavioral advertising trackers.

Integration cookies

Set when you connect optional integrations (Google Calendar). These store the OAuth state needed to maintain the connection. Disconnecting the integration from Settings → Integrations removes them.

How to opt out

Choose 'Essential only' in the consent banner shown on your first visit, or revisit your choice from Settings → Privacy. You can also clear cookies in your browser at any time — note that doing so will sign you out and reset your preferences.
